Think twice before you move into the Morningside complex off of Cottonwood in Santee. I think the board is in collusion with Walters Management as one member of the board, the one that has been on the board in one capacity or another since inception, has admittedly had dealings with them in the past.
This community is fairly new yet the assessments are almost $240 per month. What do you get for $240 per month? Nothing but grief from the board members. They will tow you at a whim with no fore warning. The $240 does not cover ANYTHING as far as utilities. You pay for your own trash, water, gas, electric in this complex.
The woman on the board has nothing better to do with her time except to stroll the complex looking for things to "fine" people on.
The pool is supposed to be open until 10 at night but it is never monitored and sometimes can get noisy so if you like to sleep with an open window don't get a condo by the pool.
Workmanship is shoddy. The pool area has already been resurfaced once! The color is not infused in the stucco so the paint is chipping off.
Not allowed to keep your garage door open- my god do these people have anything better to do?
